Playing with my cousins, Jake & Megan, Courtney just chillin', their cousins "feeding" them in their chairs, which we had to take off the chairs, cause we needed them for the adults!! :-) My brother, sister, parents & Andy came over, between the three of us kids, we have 10 KIDS & then adults, so needless to say, my house was BUSY for the night!!! But it was great gettting to see my brother's kids, we only see um every 2 years (military, based in Germany)!!! Here's one of them on their favorite toy, a talking/singing/riding train!! The next two are of the actual SCI show, in Reno, NV (13 hours from Rangely). We made the trip down in 2 days (much smarter that way) and the trip home in one, my lovely kids decided to fuss all night, so we just packed up & left at 3 in the morning!! But it was AMAZING how many people, and how much hunting/fishing stuff there was there!!! Our buddy and his dad even got to shake George W Bush's hand, it was AWESOME!! I'm so jealous!! Where else can our (past) President be in a room filled with guns, knives, and thousands of people & not be at all in danger, I LOVE it!!! Then, we got the kids to swim in the hotel pool, a little cold, but they did great!! And then in our jacuzzi tub in the hotel room, which was way more fun, cause it was warmer!!!! For those of you that don't know, my poor little kitty, Jessi had gotten burnt REALLY bad!! She was healing up pretty good, then Monday, the tendons, ligaments, and everything in her joint blistered off totally (sorry, gross I know). We took her to the vet & they told me that we can amputate her leg up to her shoulder, but there may be more burnt internally. So, I decided to just put the poor baby down, then the vet discovered that her other leg, which seemed much better, had almost completely lost the artery!! So it turned out to be a really good decision, but still, it's hard & hurts!!! The pic's of her leg was the day after she burnt it, it got WAY worse!! But good news is, Randy is LOVING to stand & wants to as much as he can & little Courtney is a wonderful eater!! She barely even makes a mess!!! The insurance company won't pay a cent cause the water came from outside, so that sucks! But oh well, we just trashed the carpet & pad & are walking on the concrete!! The worst part was we JUST finished the bathroom Thursday night!!!!! Like I had just put up pictures & the mirror!!!! But good news is that none of the electronic stuff was ruined (we got soooo lucky)!! It was awesome! Mom & I each packed a kid in their Snugglies. And they LOVED it! Poor Courtney had a sick tummy all day, she takes after mom with the whole car sickness thing! :( We even made a trip back to the NICU to visit!! We missed all our fav nurses & NNP's, but we still had fun!! Oh, and just FYI, they posted draw results early, and Colorado SCREWED us both!! My AMAZING daughter is smiling now!! And Randy is doing awesome at holding his head up off our chests!! Plus, he is FINALLY off his oxygen!! And we love it! We went camping for Memorial Day, the weather was crappy & rainy, but the kids seemed to have fun!! And look at their first stroller ride!!
